What makes an article best?
1. When people open an article, it should give some interest to them to read. To do so, it should write in an engaging way. Eliminating long paragraphs, technical discussions, essay types & unpleasant format style. Promotions are good but make it intelligently.
2. Catching title, perfect format with bullets and numbering, ample use of examples and experiences and asking advices from readers and experts are the best way to engage readers. "Make sensible errors in the article to get attention from readers." Let readers and experts react on such errors and start talk and comment on it.
To accept an article, it should be:
1. Well written in an engaging style per said above
2. Personal finance, technology, tips, case studies or reviews or so...
3. Only one link at the author bio section.
